Dr. Debabrata Sen studied Botany and Chemistry under Calcutta University. He was Senior House Physician of J. B. Roy State Ayurvedic Medical college and Hospital, Calcutta. He carries in him the invaluable research and clinical experiences of his forefathers and specialises in the treatment of chronic diseases generally considered incurable. Ayurvedacharya Dr. Debabrata Sen is an expert in eliminating toxicity, and is; the one of the Ayurvedic practitioner with an in-depth knowledge of protocols to eliminate all four toxic buildups. He has extensive knowledge on how toclear toxicity. He is an Ayurvedic general health practitioner born into a family of the highest line of healers in India (Raj Vaidyas).His family has a 5000 year history of healing.
Ayurved is the oldest medical science of the world. This ancient medical science originated in the soil of India and flourished specially in Bengal. Ayurved was initiated by Lord Dhanwantari and collected in the form of Atharvaved. Over the centuries this medical science advanced through the devoted practice and experiments of many eminent Ayurvedic physicians (Kaviraj). The clinical experiences of these great physicians used to be passed on to the next generations. With the change of time only a few families retain their dedicated practice of Ayurved. They inherit and go on enriching the invaluable clinical experiences of many centuries cultivated by their forefathers. Dr. Debabrata Sen's PARAMPARA AYURVED is one of such very few Traditional Ayurvedic families. Kaviraj Debendra Nath Sen and his earlier generations possessed and cultivated the marvels of Ayurveda. His illustrious son Rajvaidya Dharanindra Nath Sen touched lofty heights of glory and recognition as an Ayurvedic physician. He was the personal physician to the Raja of Hathua, Bihar. Among his eminent patients were such illustrious personalities as Abanindranath Thakur, Dr. Rajendra Prasad who became the first President of independent India and Prafulla Chandra Sen the late Chief Minister of West Bengal. His son Kaviraj Netai Chandra Sen, Ayurved Thirtha, carried on the family's rich tradition of Ayurvedic research and practice. The Government of West Bengal appointed him as senior Ayurvedic Medical Officer. He is the guiding light behind the continuous research programmes of Dr. Debabrata Sen's parampara ayurveda today.
He has worked and healed in the West Bengal, India for years. After graduation from the Ayurvedic College of Medicine in 1999, Ayurvedacharya Dr. Debabrata Sen entered into an intensive training with his father,the renowned Vaidya Ayurved Tirtha Dr. N. C. Sen. He received extra training in the family specialty of Ayurvedic dermatology & internal diseases.
In the early 2000s, Ayurvedacharya Dr. Debabrata Sen expanded his dermatological work by researching ayurvedic transdermal applications with allopathic medical practitioners. His extensive public appearances on national radio and TV shows as well as numerous publications led to growing fame and repeated invitations from many country. He has further refined his transdermal formulations, developing anti-aging ayurvedic cosmoceuticals.
